Dr. Ann Marie Stephenson Thomas’s love for medicine was engendered as early as elementary school and continued as a high school volunteer “candy striper” at the local hospital in her hometown, Willingboro, New Jersey. After graduating high school and with the goal of attending medical school, she enrolled at Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia. After graduation, she entered Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and the five-year dual degree program in conjunction with Saint Joseph’s University. As a third-year medical student, she completed her master’s degree in business administration with a concentration in health and medical services.
