Each season we select a pattern by a featured knit or crochet designer for our Giving Project. We also choose a nonprofit organization to benefit from the project. When you buy yarn to make the featured pattern, we donate a portion of the proceeds to this nonprofit. For Summer 2025 we are featuring crochet designer Ashlea Schumaker. Her Stellar Dog Sweater, available in 3 sizes, is our selection for this season's Giving Project. You can use any worsted-weight yarn, such as Plymouth Encore or Encore Colorspun (machine washable and dryable), Universal Yarn Deluxe Worsted, or Malabrigo Rios (machine washable). We have chosen ARF (Animal Rescue Foundation) to be the beneficiary of our Summer Giving Project. ARF is a 100% volunteer, no-kill, nonprofit animal shelter in Beacon, NY. Now through the end of September 2025, your purchase of yarn to crochet this adorable dog sweater by Ashlea Schumaker will help ARF find loving homes for cats and dogs. Please let us know at checkout if you are making our Summer Giving Project!

  • Each season we select a pattern by a featured knit or crochet designer for our Giving Project. • Each season we select a pattern by a featured knit or crochet designer for our Giving Project. • Each season we select a pattern by a featured knit or crochet designer for our Giving Project.
