Through active listening, I strive to conduct thorough psychiatric interviews in order to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders. I have been in the mental health field for over ten years working in various capacities to include recreational therapy, vocational counseling and registered nursing. My mother is a psychiatric social worker and her work led to my passion and desire to work with this population. I received my undergraduate nursing degre
