  Apple Science

  <p>The kids are learning about oxidation today! They will put 3 apple slices in a cup of vinegar, water, and lemon juice. Over the day they will check on their apples and see if they've turned brown.</p>

  Handprint Trees

  <p>We are creating family trees today! The kids will paint a tree trunk at the bottom of their pages then use their handprint to represent the branches. They will add a drop of paint to each branch to represent a member of their family.</p>

  <p>The kids will study the artwork of Pablo Picasso then create their own self portrait on a paper plate inspired by the art of Picasso!</p>

  Erupting Lemons

  <p>We are learning about acidic reactions today! The kids will sprinkle baking soda on half a lemon then squeeze lemon juice over the top to see if the acidity from the juice causes the baking soda to fizz!</p>
