Patti initially delved into the study of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) to better serve the children and families on her caseload. However, she quickly realized that FASD leads to lifelong impacts and is rarely diagnosed. Her passion lies in reaching individuals who have lived with the effects of prenatal alcohol exposure but have never fully understood their struggles.
With 39 years of experience, Patti trains professionals on FASD, trauma, addictions, and adoption-related issues while also coaching parents of affected children and neurodiverse adults, helping them navigate the unique challenges they face.
