Whether hitting the trails for fun or roads for everyday transportation, the seasoned and knowledgeable staff at Sugar Valley Bicycle offers a wide selection of e-bikes and bicycle accessories with a VIP level of customer service.
Founded in 2014 by Adam Yoder, who grew up working and tinkering on traditional bikes in his father’s bicycle shop—our family-owned and operated bike shop has evolved and expanded.
While at first the sales of traditional bikes drove our business, over the years the advent of scooters and electric bikes, or e-bikes, took over the market and today that’s what we specialize in. E-bikes are the largest growing transportation sector in America for a reason. They are a super convenient and trusty mode of transportation.
The local Amish community has embraced the use of e-bikes for everyday transportation and we’ve been there to put them in the best bike for their needs and budget. We ask a lot of questions when meeting with customers in our showroom, narrowing the choices down to a few bikes and encouraging them to take those on a test drive.
Our bike service team still repairs and maintains traditional bikes as well as e-bikes. Doing all the work to honor the warranties is our passion! Almost any older bike can be restored and put back on the road, but when it would cost more than the price of a new bike, we advise our customers about that.
The best-in-class brands we offer include: Aventon, Biktrix, E-Lux and NCM, to name a few. Road-legal e-bikes come in three classes by state law that range in speed up to 28 mph.
We provide all the latest gear needed for the best riding experience, including helmets, safety lights, baskets, bottle cages, fender racks, cargo trailers and children’s trailers.
