About Emil's Tires
Emil's Tires was started by Emil Dettmering in the late 60's. Emil was a farmer born and raised in Matteson, IL. What started out as a side business out of his garage with his sons in between working the fields, turned into a full time operating wholesale and retail tire shop. Emil specialized in Ag and Commercial tire sales and service, quickly becoming known as the man that could find anything, no matter how hard it may be. Emil prided himself on offering customers the best prices and service around. Taking care of each customer no matter how big or small with the same quality service. Selling tires he himself would use or recommend on his friends and family's vehicles. Giving recommendations on tires based on the customer's use, not just making a big sale. In 2019, after over 50 years in business, Emil decided to retire selling the business to his granddaughter, Dominique. Dominique has continued the same values as her grandfather. With Emil still working close by her side they continue to keep the business the same family owned company it always was. We offer the best customer services in Matteson, IL, Grant Park, IL, and Frankfort, IL.
