Dr. Taizoon H. Baxamusa, FACS, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with subspecialty certification in hand surgery. He completed his fellowship in Hand & Upper Extremity/Microvascular Surgery at the Indiana Hand Center. Dr. Baxamusa specializes in treating hand, shoulder, and elbow conditions, including arthritis, nerve compression, fractures, tendon injuries, and rotator cuff tears. He offers joint replacement and minimally invasive procedures such as small joint arthroscopy. He prioritizes patient education and continuity of care through recovery. He serves as Chief of the Division of Hand Surgery at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital and is president of the Chicago Society for Surgery of the Hand.
