Daniel S. Yip, M.D., is a cardiologist with the Heart Transplant Program within the Transplant Center at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL. His primary clinical interests include caring for patients with advanced heart failure, the use of advanced medical therapies for the treatment of heart failure, the use of advanced surgical therapies for the treatment of heart failure, such as mechanical circulatory support which includes the evaluation and management of patients with left ventricular assist devices (LVAD), and evaluation and management of patients who may benefit from heart transplantation.
