About Jeeva Clinical Trials Inc.
After suffering the loss of a child to a rare congenital disorder and a brother to a chronic disease, Jeeva founder and CEO Dr. Harsha Rajasimha decided to apply his years of postdoctoral training at the National Institutes of Health and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, as well as his work in the healthcare and life science industry, to accelerating access to treatments for rare & chronic diseases by eliminating bottlenecks in the clinical trials process. Jeeva identified travel requirements for clinical trial patients as a major barrier for sponsors to achieve timely patient recruitment and retention. The location of the investigator sites and the frequency of travel are barriers for patients to access life-saving treatment options. In addition, the COVID-19 pandemic is accelerating the demand to decentralize the way clinical trials are conducted.
