Dr. Maroney is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine, shoulder and knee arthroscopy, total joint replacements, and fracture care. He completed his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine with honors at UNT Health Science Center and his orthopedic residency at Oklahoma State University. A former NCAA Division II basketball team captain at Abilene Christian University, Dr. Maroney brings a unique perspective to his practice, focusing on preventive care and joint preservation. He serves as a team physician for local schools and has volunteered on medical missions across Central and South America and Africa. His goal is to help everyone from young athletes to lively seniors restore their ability to enjoy a healthy active lifestyle.
