Spivey (Rick) started his practice in the late 1970's after graduating from Cumberland School of Law and practicing in Birmingham, Alabama handling civil and commercial litigation. However, in 1979 Rick found his true calling by returning to his hometown in Kingsport, Tennessee and starting a practice specializing in criminal law, domestic/divorce work and general litigation. <br><br>Matthew A. Spivey (Matthew) followed in his father's footsteps after graduating from Emory University School of Law (Atlanta, Georgia) in 2006, with honors, and practicing there for approximately six and a half years handling complex civil and commercial litigation.
