About Sheila L. Goodman, MD
Growing up, Dr. Sheila Goodman wasn’t sure if she wanted to be a teacher or a doctor. It wasn’t until college that she realized she could combine her passions and become an educator for her patients.
After deciding to pursue medicine, it didn’t take long for Dr. Goodman to focus her studies on OB/GYN.
She says, “I chose OB/GYN because I think it combines the best parts of medicine: primary care, in which you get to know your patient and her family; surgery with its intricacies and fascinations; deliveries with the excitement and happiness.â€
Outside of the doctor’s office, Dr. Goodman enjoys reading, going to the movies, swimming, traveling and knitting. She has been married for 25 years and has three daughters.
